How RecallGuard should handle submitted materials
Use this as your starter privacy/confidentiality page and have legal review before publishing as final policy.
1. Private handling of submissions
Customer-submitted materials should be stored privately and accessed only for the purpose of completing the requested RecallGuard review and delivering the associated report.
2. Limited use of customer data
Submitted files, formulas, labels, ingredient statements, and related materials should be used only for review, report generation, customer support, and workflow administration tied to the purchased service.
3. No resale or reuse outside the workflow
Customer materials should not be sold, publicly shared, or reused outside the RecallGuard review process except where required by law or explicitly authorized by the customer.
4. Restricted operational access
Access to customer materials should be limited to systems and personnel directly involved in intake, review, reporting, and support.
5. Retention and deletion
You should define a clear retention schedule for how long submissions, generated reports, and related records are kept, and how deletion requests are handled.
6. Customer responsibility
RecallGuard is a decision-support and documentation workflow. Final compliance and release responsibility remains with the manufacturer or product owner.
