What a food label review should answer
A useful review is not only a proofread. The practical question is whether the package artwork, ingredient statement, allergen declaration and production-intended product records describe the same SKU.
RecallGuard organizes the supplied evidence around that question. It records supported differences, assigns severity, identifies the source files involved and recommends the next verification step. The result is a decision-ready PDF report rather than a loose list of comments.
When to review a SKU
- Before the first production run or retailer submission
- After a formula, flavor, component or supplier change
- When old and new artwork files are both circulating
- When a co-packer or private-label handoff introduces another approval step
- Before approving a corrected label after an earlier finding
What the $349 review includes
- Secure, payment-verified intake for one SKU
- Review of the submitted label, formula/specification and supporting product records
- Product identity, ingredient, allergen and file-quality checks
- Severity-based findings with evidence references
- A professional PDF findings report
- One revision after corrected evidence or artwork is supplied
What to have ready
For the clearest result, provide the final or proposed label artwork, the production-intended formula or specification, the current ingredient and allergen information, and any supplier/component documentation relevant to compound ingredients. Proprietary percentages are not normally required when an ingredient-only or redacted specification is sufficient.
